Overview
vSnaps offers a functionality for creation of screenshots/previews/poster frames/thumbnails of video files.
Access to the service is available to everyone however only ONE account per user is allowed.
The screenshots/previews/poster frames/thumbnails generated by vSnaps are free for use.
The user MUST NOT use services offered by vSnaps to propagate material that is illegal or that is immoral in any other way.
Disclaimer
vSnaps is not responsible for the examination of the video content and is not liable at all for snapshots generated from these videos.
vSnaps reserves the right to cancel the service provision to the user without notice in case the user bad behaviour or abuse.
The user agrees to indemnify vSnaps from all damages and expenses of third parties including institutions or companies who claim that the snapshots infringes the right of third parties or that the material is illegal in any other way. In such cases the user does indemnify vSnaps for all expenses. Furthermore the user will provide the necessary support to vSnaps in relation to the legal defending and indemnify vSnaps from legal costs for defending.
vSnaps is not liable to render the services at any time accessible and without mistakes.
Additionally vSnaps is authorized to discontinue the accessibility of its websites and services entirely or partialy for the purpose of maintenance work, upgrade and/or bug fixes/troubleshooting at any time and without prior announcement.
vSnaps is not liable for any damages as a consequence of unavailability of services.
The user has no claim for reimbursement based on those malfunctions against vSnaps.
vSnaps claims no copyrights shown at the user's websites however vSnaps keeps the right to show the generated video thumbnails and a link to your site to any of its network sites.
All components of vSnaps website (including text and images) are copyrighted by vSnaps. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way any material from this site.
vSnaps may include links to external sites maintained by third parties.
We take no responsibility for the content of these external sites.
You authorize vSnaps to crawl or spider your web site and download your video files for the purpose of the video thumbnail generation or site authentication.
A backup of the video file(s) may be kept in case of future troubleshooting the thumbnail generation process.
Registration
For the usage of the services offered by vSnaps a user registration is required.
The user is liable to deliver true and correct data during the registration.
Failing to provide true and correct data may result in account termination without any prior notice and user ban from the site.
It is your own responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your data.
vSnaps cannot be help responsible any losses as a result of the user account termination.
We may send you occasional notices of related services or account usage statistics but not SPAM.
Your personal information will not be sold or shared with anyone except in case of criminally relevant acts of the user. In such cases vSnaps is authorized, to release the data related to the user to law enforcement agencies if they request so.
Types of service
Free service
- Maximum 25 MB per video file
- 1 000 MB transfer per month
- The video thumbnail contains the text "Video Thumbnail by vSnaps.com"
Premium service

Partnership
No partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or other kind of relationship is intended or created by this Agreement between the user and service provider.
Force majeure
In case of force majeure the agreement can either be considered as judicially cancelled without user and vSnaps being entitled of any compensation or the delivery time(s). vSnaps will consider as force majeure: war, mobilization, terror acts, and in general all circumstances, events, causes which are beyond our control.
You agree to use vSnaps’ services at your own risk and to not hold vSnaps liable for any damages for any reason.
vSnaps reserves the right to change the terms of this license agreement at any time and without notice.
